1. Cancellation Policy

  • If Mehwish needs to cancel your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full.
  • In the rare case that Mehwish cannot attend due to an emergency, illness, or family bereavement, every effort will be made to arrange a trusted, professional makeup artist to take her place. They will be fully briefed and provided with any specialist products if required.
  • Deposits are non-refundable but can be transferred to a new date if Mehwish is available.
  • Clients are strongly encouraged to take out wedding insurance for peace of mind.

2. Client Cancellations

  • If you choose to cancel your wedding or party booking, the deposit remains non-refundable.
  • Cancellations made more than 8 weeks before the wedding date will not incur further charges.
  • Cancellations made within 8 weeks of the wedding date may require the full balance to be paid, as it is unlikely that the date can be rebooked at short notice.
  • Bridal party changes require a minimum of 4 weeks' notice for cancellation or adjustment of numbers.
  • Clients are advised to check their wedding insurance, which may cover cancellation costs.

3. Group bookings

  • If you have booked as a group, all members of the group must be present in the same room at your allocated time for services. Mehwish will not be traveling between rooms to accommodate separate individuals.
  • Please be ready at your allocated time. Late arrivals may result in a shortened services.

4. Payment

  • A non-refundable deposit of £50 is required to secure Bridal bookings. The remaining balance must be paid via bank transfer no later than 48 hours before the booking.
  • A non-refundable deposit of £10 is required to secure Party bookings. The remaining balance must be paid via bank transfer 24 hours before the booking or cash on the day.
  • Failure to make payment may result in your booking being cancelled.
  • Deposits are transferable to a new date (subject to Mehwish’s availability).

5. Client Responsibilities

  • Clients must inform Mehwish of any allergies, sensitivities, or skin conditions in advance.
  • All brushes, tools, and products are cleaned and sanitised between each application.
  • Mehwish cannot be held liable for any issues, reactions, or damages that arise if conditions or allergies are not disclosed.
  • Patch tests can be arranged on request.

6. Travel

  • Travel is included within Reading, Berkshire.
  • For bookings outside of Reading, a travel fee will apply (calculated per mile or by arrangement in advance).

7. Parking

  • If parking or valet charges apply at your venue, these will be added to the final balance and must be covered by the client.
  • Please ensure suitable parking arrangements are available on the day.

8. Liability & Insurance

  • Mehwish holds full public liability insurance.
  • This provides protection in the unlikely event of accidents, injuries, or damage directly related to the services provided.

9. Photography & Marketing

  • With your consent, Mehwish may take photographs during your consultation or wedding day for portfolio and social media use.
  • If you prefer not to be photographed or featured, please let Mehwish know in advance.
